   Dear Gioele and Heiby, Jean and I wanted to thank you for your very gracious hospitality during our stay last week. We were very impressed with how generous you were with your time and willingness to help us figure out our various walking tours and (of course) the restaurants. It was greatly appreciated! Also, we wanted to thank the rest of your colleagues at the hotel, one of whom even helped us to our water taxi at 7:15 a.m. on our last day (and made us espressos to-go very early that morning). Everyone was incredibly helpful. Lastly, I wanted to compliment you on the interior of the hotel - it was a nice mixture of old-world Venice, mid-century modern (and present-day modern), and Moroccan chic! In my own work (architecture), I tend to combine the old and new world, and I thought you hit the mark very well. The place had a great feel and I particularly enjoyed the omnipresent sound of jazz. I will happily refer your hotel to our friends! If you are ever out our way in San Francisco, let us know! Best, Ken Linsteadt
